Calgary artist represents Canada at prestigious Salon de la Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris

CALGARY, Sept. 14, 2011 /CNW/ – Work by Calgary visual artist, Jim Pescott, has been selected for the prestigious Saloon 2011 SNBA in Paris to be held at the Carrousel du Louvre, in Paris, December 8-11, 2011. The exhibition involves a dozen delegations from around the world: it is one of the most prestigious international exhibitions of contemporary art: Canada has been a participant since 2004. Pescott, a painter, joins a delegation of Canadian artists who will attend the opening ceremony hosted by French president, Nicolas Sarkozy. |
