Anxiety and Hope – An Evening with the Artists

New York, NY – October 6, 2025 – L’SPACE Gallery is proud to present FIBRATION III: Anxiety and Hope, the third installment of its annual fiber art series curated by gallery director and founder Lili Almog. On Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6–8 pm, the gallery will host An Evening with the Artists—a special program featuring Aheneah, Mona Bozorgi, Lesley Dill, Jeanne Jaffe, Johannah Herr, Elektra KB, Manju Shandler, and Halley Zien.

This intimate event offers audiences a rare opportunity to hear directly from eight of the exhibition’s featured artists. Through conversation and dialogue, they will share insights into their inspirations, techniques, and the personal and political narratives woven into their work.

FIBRATION III: Anxiety and Hope brings together sixteen contemporary artists working at the intersection of textile, storytelling, and resistance. As the latest chapter in L’SPACE’s acclaimed series on contemporary fiber art, this exhibition explores the emotional tension between upheaval and optimism—a timely reflection on global conflict, migration, political rupture, and shifting identities.

Subtitled Anxiety and Hope, the show immerses viewers in a landscape where softness collides with sharp critique, and threads become instruments of resilience and resistance. Through tapestries, installations, and sculptural works, the artists invite audiences to slow down, look closer, and engage deeply with the social, political, and emotional fabric of our time.
