MartRovereto
The Mart, Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, was founded in 1987 as an organization controlled by the Provincia autonoma di Trento (Autonomous province of Trento) and located in the historic Palazzo delle Albere in Trento. It now boasts three exhibition sites: the new and principle base of the Museum, at Rovereto, Palazzo delle Albere in Trento, and the Casa d’Arte Futurista Fortunato Depero in Rovereto.
The new museum complex of Rovereto, inaugurated on 15th December 2002, was designed by the Ticino-based architect, Mario Botta, in collaboration with a engineer, Giulio Andreolli.
